DAY 1 - Flight from LAX to Ismir, Turkey
day 2 - Turkey: Kusadasi (Ephesus) AND PAMUKKALE (LAODicea)
Overnight at the Charisma Hotel, Kusadasi (Ephesus)
Day 3 - Turkey: Ephesus & laodicea
We will visit the ruins of Ephesus which was one of the greatest cities in the ancient world. Ephesus has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Ephesus is important for Christians as this is a site where Paul preached, Timothy taught, and where John warned the church at Ephesus “…you have abandoned your first love.” (Rev. 2:4). We will then visit Pamukkale (Laodicea), known as the lukewarm church: “I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”—Revelation 3:15–16.
Overnight at the Doga Thermal Hotel, Pamukkale
DAY 4 - TURKEY: AKHISAR (PHILADELPHIA), SART (SARDIS), IZMIR (SMYRNA)
Philadelphia is called the city of Brotherly Love. This city has some ruins of the city wall and some arches dating from the late Byzantine era. From Revelation 3:8-13: I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you. Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. We will also visit Sardis, a major center of Hellenistic and Byzantine culture - now an active archaeological site. Revelation 3:1 says: “I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Wake, and strengthen the things that remain…I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God.” And our last site for this day will be Smyrna. Smyrna was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Lydia before falling to the Persians, Greeks, Romans, and Byzantines. Its ruins span everything from a Roman gymnasium to the relics of a nearby Greek temple to the remains of the fifth church of the Bible’s Seven Churches of the Revelation. From Revelation 2:9: I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear what you are about to suffer…be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life."
Overnight at the Movenpick Hotel, Izmir
DAY 5 - TURKEY: AKHISAR (THYATIRA), BERGAMA (PERGAMON), ACROPOLIS & ASCLEPTION OF THE HELLENISTIC CITY OF PERGAMON
In Thyatira, you will see the remains of an ancient temple. This is the place where John wrote: I know your deeds and your love and faith and service and perseverance, and that your deeds of late are greater than at first. But, I have this against you that you tolerate the woman Jezebel…He who overcomes, I will give authority over the nations. (Revelation 2:19-26). Then we will visit Pergamon. Pergamum Church, with its historical and cultural assets, is one of the most visited destinations by local and foreign travelers. This city is on the Unesco World Heritage list due to its breathtaking history and stunning artifacts. We will visit the acropolis where we will see the ruins, imagining what took place here in times past. Walking down from the ancient city, we will visit the Asclepion, which was used as a health center by ancient people.
Day 6 - Turkey: izmir airport to kayseri, turkey

The next stop will be the rock-carved natural Citadel of Uchisar where we will enjoy a superb view of the region. After visiting an authentic underground city nearby, we will stop at Avanos which is known for its earthenware potteries symbolizing the traditional character of the region.

day 8 - Depart from Kayseri to Israel
Take a stroll on the Boardwalk in Tel Aviv (Mediterranean shoreline). Overnight at Herod’s Hotel, Tel Aviv

We will head for Caesarea, stopping at the Roman theater, the aqueduct, and then we will wade in the Mediterranean. Next, we will head north to visit Rosh Hanikra, one of the most beautiful places in Israel! Rosh Hanikra is a geologic formation on the border between Israel and Lebanon, located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the Western Galilee. It is a white chalk cliff face which opens up into spectacular grottos. The grottoes are cavernous tunnels formed by sea action on the soft chalk rock. We will end our day visiting Akko, a city that has been influenced by the Romans, Ottomans, Crusaders, Mamelukes, Byzantines, and the British. Today it is home to a brilliantly coexistent mixed population of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The old city of Akko is another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest ports in the world.

Isaiah 17:1 Damascus will cease from being a city and shall become a ruinous heap. While in the area, we will shop at an interesting Druze Market, after which we will visit Zippori National Park which is perched atop a hill in the heart of the Galilee. It offers a panoramic view of Israel’s rich historical landscape. Known as the capital of the Galilee, the seat of the Sanhedrin, and the place where the Mishnah was completed; Zippori stands as a testament to the region’s vibrant past. We will drive up Mt. Arbel’s high cliffs and enjoy views of Mt. Hermon and the Golan Heights, a cave fortress, and ruins of an ancient synagogue. Mt. Arbel sits across from Mt. Nitai. Their cliffs were created as a result of the geological processes leading to the creation of the Jordan Rift Valley. We will end our day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
